Staats Motocross Bicycles is releasing an all new OX platinum alloy Whip frame for 2009. The frames are hand built in The USA with OX Platinum tubing, which is a proprietary superthermophillic (heat-loving) alloy that has an unprecedented 217 ksi ultimate tensile strength and is highly temper-resistant, resulting in an 11% increase in fatigue life and a 20% increase in impact strength over the competition.

The increased mechanical properties of OX Platinum allow for incredibly strong, yet lightweight frame designs with that legendary feel of steel ride quality. And the new OX frames use the same race proven Staats geometry that has been winning races and championships since 1995.
