Sirius Bicycles have added a fifth rider to it's Staats factory team. Kyle had a very busy & very successful 2009 season. The newly formed Sirius Staats Factory Team was in action over the weekend at the BMX Queensland State Titles held at Ashmore, on the Gold Coast. Although the team's first official race is not until the Nerang Nationals in January, the team put their best foot forward with a strong outing at Ashmore, & provided a glimpse of things to come. BRANDON MCQUEEN - DNS due to a bad crash the week before that resulted in a concussion. BROCK SMITH - 2nd Place 12 Boys. Brock cruised through qualifying & rode a great final. Sirius Bicycles is going back to its roots with the re-formation of a Staats factory team. The team will be comprised of 5 Queensland based riders to be named after the worlds & in time for the QLD state titles. This team will be the only factory team racing out of the siriusbikes.com stable in 2010 & the search for the 5 riders that will make up the team has been an arduous one but once the team is up & racing the hard work will have been worth it.
